Our advanced workshop is fast approaching. This participatory advanced workshop will focus on the challenges you have faced when working with oral history interviews – whether in writing about them, or making some other type of oral history production – and how such issues might best be managed, or perhaps even avoided. It will focus on the personal, ethical and political issues posed when we work with people’s life stories.

Our very popular introductory workshop is back for another year. Professional historian Sarah Rood will guide you through a comprehensive introduction to oral history practice, focusing on research, ethics, equipment, interviewing techniques and transcribing.
