Bookings are open for OHV’s in-person beginners training session Remember to Press Record: Getting Started with Oral History on the 24th March 2024 at the North Melbourne Library.

Miranda and Nicolette understand that starting an oral history project can be daunting. They want to equip you with the essentials, from project documentation like consent forms, to the technology you need (yes they include simple and free options!), and the must-do interview techniques. Reminder – proposals for the 2024 OHA Biennial Conference due 1st April

A reminder that anyone considering presenting at the 2024 Biennial Conference has until 1 April 2024 to submit their proposal.

Don’t miss out.

The 2024 conference will be held from 21-24 November at Trinity College in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville.

The theme is ‘The Power of Oral History—Risks, Rewards & Responsibilities’ and one of the keynote speakers will be the legendary Alessandro Portelli.
