Ideas and skills exchange: OHV support group

Every 2-3 months on a Tuesday evening Oral History Victoria (OHV) hosts an informal gathering for oral historians who want to discuss their projects – both challenges and successes – with like-minded others.  The exact dates are posted once confirmed.

The next  ‘Oral History Victoria Ideas and Skills Exchange’ will be held on Tuesday 25 February, 5.30-6:30pm at The Moat cafe bar (176 Little Lonsdale St, near the State Library). With facilitation by OHV committee members Judy Hughes and Elizabeth Triarico, this is an opportunity for experienced and aspiring oral historians to come along and share their current or prospective oral history projects and get advice about any challenges they are facing.

Come and join us for an informal chat and a drink. Just turn up at the Moat on the day and ask for ‘the History Group’ (at our first successful gathering in May 2017 the Moat staff got a bit confused about the difference between oral history and orthodontists!).

Informal OHV gathering at of six oral historians The Moat cafe.

Oral historians attending an informal catch-up known as the ‘Ideas & skills exchange’.
